WHAT TO EXPECT
ARRK Engineering is part of the international ARRK group of companies and
specialized in product development. Within the ARRK group of companies
we implement product developments from virtual development to
prototypes and small series production.
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards, production processes, and customer requirements for HMI control components (buttons, switches, control panels) in series-production vehicles. You will act as the quality interface between customer, suppliers, and the internal team, supporting issue resolution, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The role focuses on process quality, production follow-up, and defect management, working closely with SE-TL and HW/SW Engineers to ensure technical and quality alignment.
YOUR TASKS
- Monitor and ensure compliance with customer quality standards and KPIs across all series production activities.
- Lead and coordinate problem-solving activities (e.g., 8D reports, RCCA, escalation management).
- Track defect reports (Octane, PQM, or customer systems) and ensure timely resolution with suppliers.
- Support audits and quality reviews during production and validation phases.
- Follow up on supplier quality performance, including defect rates, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
- Validate process quality aspects such as PQM lead times, and escalation topics.
- Ensure that all documentation and quality reports are properly maintained and delivered to the customer.
- Proactively identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with SE-TL and HW/SW Engineers to ensure technical and process-related issues are aligned and resolved.
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, or Automotive Engineering (or related field).
- Several years of experience in quality assurance, supplier quality management, or series production support in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality methods and tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, APQP, ISO/TS standards).
- Experience with problem management systems (e.g., Octane, PQM, or similar).
- Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence).
- Familiarity with series production processes and customer audits.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Strong communication skills to manage customer and supplier quality interfaces.
- International, multi-site project experience
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
