WHAT TO EXPECT
ARRK Engineering is part of the international ARRK group of companies and
specialized in product development. Within the ARRK group of companies
we implement product developments from virtual development to
prototypes and small series production.
As a HW/SW Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising, validating, and integrating hardware and software aspects of HMI control components (buttons, switches, control panels) in series-production vehicles. You will act as the technical link between customer, suppliers, and the internal team, ensuring that hardware and software changes are implemented correctly, integrated into the system architecture, and validated according to production requirements.
You will bring expertise in electronic and electrical supervision of HW design (PCB, connectors, interfaces), basic firmware understanding, and software integration, to ensure flawless functionality and compliance in mass production.
YOUR TASKS
- Supervise and validate hardware/software modifications at component and system integration level.
- Ensure proper integration of HW and SW with ECUs and system networks (LIN, CAN, FlexRay, etc.).
- Monitor and analyze production testing and validation results, identifying integration issues.
- Support debugging and root cause analysis across HW, SW, and firmware layers.
- Collaborate with SE-TL, Quality Engineers, and suppliers to coordinate integration tasks and corrective actions.
- Document integration results, validation reports, and approval status.
- Support problem-solving processes such as 8D and manage defect reporting/follow-up in tools (e.g., Jira, Octane).
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering.
- Several years of experience in HW/SW integration, validation, and series production in automotive projects.
- Solid knowledge of HW (electronics, PCBs, connectors, wiring) and SW (basic firmware, flashing, validation).
- Familiarity with automotive bus systems (CAN, LIN, FlexRay) and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence).
- Understanding of automotive quality and production standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, IATF 16949).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and coordination skills
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
