Be part of a team designing and operating a cloud-native AWS platform that powers digital transformation initiatives for automotive clients. The role focuses on platform architecture, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, security and observability, with strong collaboration across engineering teams and direct technical consulting with customers
YOUR TASKS
- Design, build and operate a scalable and secure AWS-based cloud platform supporting the digital transformation initiatives of automotive clients
- Define and evolve cloud and platform architectures, including serverless, containerized and event-driven patterns
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code and automation to provision, configure, and evolve cloud environments
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure, focusing on reliability, safety and developer experience
- Embed security, compliance and governance practices into the platform by default
- Establish observability and operational standards, ensuring platform and application reliability
- Optimize cloud usage and costs through automation, monitoring and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to design solutions, review architectures and provide technical consulting in a customer-facing environment
YOUR PROFILE
- Experience working as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer in complex cloud environments
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure as code, preferably using Terraform
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native deployments, and automation
- Experience operating containerized workloads on AWS, including Kubernetes or managed container services
- Solid understanding of security, reliability, and operational best practices in cloud platforms
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, international teams and contribute to a constructive engineering culture
- Clear and confident communication skills in English, both written and verbal; German is a plus
- An interest in the automotive domain or enthusiasm for cars is a plus
